When and where to pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 in Canada

The last few weeks have been pretty chaotic in the world of Nintendo.

Nintendo Switch 2 Canadian Pre-Orders: Everything You Need to Know

After finally unveiling the long-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 on April 2, Nintendo set pre-orders for April 9 — only to delay them indefinitely in the U.S. and Canada due to American tariffs. Throughout all of this, Canadians were left in the dark about pricing for most Switch 2 games and accessories.

Fortunately, Good Friday brought much-needed clarity. Canadian pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will officially open on Thursday, April 24, and we now have full pricing details for the console, games, and accessories — including the eyebrow-raising $110 price tag for Mario Kart World.

With so many twists and turns in the rollout, older pre-order info quickly became outdated. That’s why we’ve put together what we hope is a final and comprehensive round-up of Switch 2 pre-order details in Canada. Below, you'll find the list of retailers offering pre-orders for the console and bundles, plus related links (some are placeholders for now).

Pricing Note:
The standalone Nintendo Switch 2 console costs $629.99, while the bundle with Mario Kart World is $699.99. That means you’re getting the game for just $70 instead of $110 — a solid deal if you’re planning to grab both anyway.
